A birdie + hopefully more. Testing some ideas. I like to keep things slow (and cross-stitches are slow), although I’ve got many things (sometimes too many) in my head and on the table.

Blouse to make

Tehdä tuollainen paita. En ole ommellut mitään kuukausiin. Syysvaatteita tässä mietin vain, että mitä sitä tekisi & pukisi ylleen. Ideoita olen tähän mennessä saanut maatuskoilta ja klovneilta (värit) ja japanilaisista ompelukirjoista (hyvät kaavat), mutta jos pääni menee jostain pyörälle niin näistä neljästä tunnelmasta: 1, 2, 3, 4.

That shirt would be nice to make. I haven’t been sewing anything for months, mostly because I was away  from home (in the country helping to renovate  an old sauna building among other things). Now I’m itching to make some clothes! I’m drawn to matryoshka dolls, clowns (colorful!) and of course japanese sewing books (great patterns as always). These four photos are gorgeous as they are and inspiring when it comes to autumn clothing: 1, 2, 3, 4.
